Visitor Information

Golf

Golfers can enjoy 18 or 9 holes of golf on our Championship Course. Tee times can be booked online or by calling reception on 01865 327775.

There are concessionary green fees for Under-18s but these are not accessible through the online booking system. If an adult is also playing, please book just the adult online and pay the Junior fee when checking in.

We offer member guest rates to County Card holders. Please call to make a reservation as online booking is priced only at visitor rates.

We are busier at weekends, especially in the mornings when competitions are normally played, therefore we encourage new or less confident golfers to book at quieter times and in smaller groups to maintain the pace for all. 12 Buggies are available to book online or by contacting reception.

Balls, tees, hats, gloves, shirts and similar items can be purchased at reception, along with range ball hire.

The practice putting and chipping greens are available for members, green fee ticket holders and driving range users.

Footgolf

Next to our main golf course is our separate 18 Hole Footgolf course. Footgolf is amongst the fastest growing sports in the UK and great fun for family groups, work outings and for sports teams looking for something a little different (although still competitive!)

Footballs are available to hire and can be pre-booked at the same time as booking your tee time.

Nature Trail

The Hinksey Heights Nature Trail is accessed near "The 19th Hole" and is situated in a beautiful wooded valley between the golf course and Harcourt Hill, joining up with a number of excellent walking routes.

Refreshments

Hot and cold drinks, meals, snacks and ice creams are served in "The 19th Hole" and most items are available to take out should you wish. We welcome golfers, footgolfers, and anyone passing through on their journey whether on foot, bicycle or in a motorised vehicle. Well-behaved dogs on leads are also welcome in "The 19th Hole", but no dogs are allowed on the golf or footgolf courses.

We host and cater for parties of up to 80 people indoors and more in our marquees, along with catered packages for golf societies, companies, clubs and other groups whether or not the attendees are playing golf or footgolf. Between April and September, we offer outdoor, barbeque-based catering which has proven increasingly popular in recent years.

We are proud to hold a five star food hygiene rating.

Parking

There is plenty of free parking for customers and Nature Trail walkers in our main or overflow car park. HGVs cannot be accommodated at any time and there is no overnight parking.

Juniors

We aim to provide a safe, encouraging and welcoming environment for under-18's making use of any of our facilities, and we are Safe Golf accredited. We run junior "camps" in the holidays and regular group lessons at other times with our attached Golf Professional, David Cook. Our junior golf memberships are excellent value and can even be added to full adult memberships for free. Visit, email or call us to find out more of the opportunities on offer.

Juniors under 13 years old must be supervised during their activity by an appropriate adult. Juniors between 14 and 17 years old can play independently, but an appropriate adult must remain on site or have completed a Junior Profile and Parental Consent Form, available at reception.
